Mississauga Wedding Dress and Alterations Store - Eva's Bridal Couture
We are proud to offer professional alteration service in our store and this service is one of our best assets. We also provide wedding gown alterations for clients not purchasing at our store.

The owner, Eva has years of coutourier experience. She personally takes all measurements and makes sure the size ordered is the closest to your figure which will save you money on alterations later on. She is present at all fittings and oversees the alteration process.

Many dresses fit perfectly on the first try. However, keep in mind that the gowns ordered are not custom made and sometimes they need a considerable amount of adjustments.

When preparing the wedding budget every bride should consider an amount of $100-$300 for the alteration. The cost will vary and depend on the style, fabric and complexity of the work.

Any customization such as adding straps or sleeves, sewing in extra beads or reapplying them on the dress, as well as changing the neckline, or adding a bustle to the dress will add an extra cost.

Working on a wedding gown is a time-consuming work of art and requires a great deal of detailing, precision and passion. Our main goal is to present our clients with a gown that will be the highlight of her wedding day.

While no longer part of mainstream fashion, a bustle can be a necessary, and very fashionable addition to a wedding gown. The bustle creates the loops, hooks or ribbons in the gown to allow the train to be pinned up during the reception.

Most gowns are not sold with the bustle already in them, because the bustle must be added to suit the bride. This means that a bride who would like to keep the train up after the wedding will need to have the bustle installed. (eHow.com)
